Laminar in Somerville, MA is seeking a recruiter who can scale teams quickly while protecting culture and quality. You’ll own the full talent lifecycle across engineering, data, deployments, customer support and business roles, delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.

Salary ranges from $85,000 to $140,000 per year with equity, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) matching, health coverage, and flexible PTO.

We are hiring a recruiter who thrives in fast‑moving environments and is energized by the challenge of scaling teams quickly—without compromising quality, culture or experience. You’ll own the full talent lifecycle and play a critical role in shaping the team, the culture and how Laminar grows.

What You Will Own

• End‑to‑end talent building: full‑cycle recruiting across engineering, data, deployments, customer support and business roles.
• Pipeline generation that doesn’t rely on inbound – you’ll creatively source, engage and close top talent.
• Recruiting marketing, partnerships and employer brand development (universities, communities, networks).
• Delivering a best‑in‑class candidate experience that reflects Laminar’s ambition and culture.
• Partnering deeply with hiring managers to define roles, raise the bar and move quickly.
• Reinforcing a culture of high performance and high talent density.
• Helping leadership make strong hiring decisions—and tough calls when needed.
• Contributing to onboarding and employee experience.
• Building scalable recruiting and People Ops systems (including HRIS implementation).
• Supporting org chart design and team structure as we scale.
• Contributing to compensation design and competitive incentivization strategies.

About You

• 4+ years of recruiting experience, including technical roles, in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments – this is a must‑have.
• You are obsessed with talent – you love meeting smart, ambitious people, building relationships and convincing them to join something meaningful.
• You don’t wait for candidates – you go out and find them.
• You can manage high volume without lowering the bar.
• You’re both systems‑minded and execution‑driven – you build processes and get things done daily.
• You’re comfortable pushing hiring managers and influencing decisions.
• You care deeply about candidate and employee experience – not just closing roles.

Salary: $85,000 – $140,000 per year. Includes equity and a comprehensive benefits package. Laminar pays 100% of the health insurance premium for HMO medical, vision and dental, offers flexible PTO, a $90/month transportation benefit, a $65/month health and wellness benefit, FSA, 12 company‑paid holidays, an employer‑matching 401(k) and a Greentown Labs membership. Our Interview Process

1. Phone screen with Head of Operations or Recruiter (15–20 minutes).
2. Intro call with Hiring Manager (30 minutes).
3. On‑site interview, including short tour of GTL, overview of tech, and interview/presentation with the Hiring Manager and a few team members. Depending on the role, a skills exercise up to an hour prep may be required.
4. Finalists for Full‑Time positions will have a Founder’s Interview in‑person.
5. Two professional references. If an offer is extended, a background check is conducted.
