Affirmed Home Care in New York is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment for HHAs, LPNs, and RNs across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. You’ll source, interview, and onboard healthcare professionals to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes outbound sourcing, coordination of onboarding, and maintaining strong candidate relationships in a fast-paced environment with NY state compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in healthcare, home care, staffing, or related field.
• Experience recruiting HHAs, LPNs, and RNs is required.
• Strong experience with candidate sourcing and outbound recruiting.
• Experience using job boards, social media, networking, and community outreach to identify candidates.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing recruitment team and help us identify, attract, and hire exceptional healthcare professionals.

Position Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for Home Health Aides (HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs) throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

You will be responsible for sourcing qualified candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating onboarding, and helping ensure we have the right caregivers available to meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, source, interview, and hire HHAs, LPNs, and RNs
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from initial outreach through onboarding
• Create, maintain, and optimize job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
• Proactively source candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to identify qualified candidates
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Guide new hires through onboarding and collect required employment documentation
• Ensure recruiting activities follow New York State requirements and affirmed Home Care hiring standards
• Attend and represent affirmed Home Care at job fairs, career fairs, schools, community events, and other recruiting events
• Build relationships with community organizations and local talent sources
• Assist with new-hire orientation and help provide a positive candidate experience
• Promote employee referral programs and other recruiting initiatives
• Track recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and hiring results
• Meet weekly recruiting and hiring goals while maintaining high candidate quality

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of recruiting experience in healthcare, home care, staffing, or a related field
• Experience recruiting HHAs, LPNs, and RNs required
• Strong experience with candidate sourcing and outbound recruiting
• Experience using job boards, social media, networking, and community outreach to identify candidates
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience
