Addison Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in Herndon, VA to recruit a Contract Recruiter. The role supports high-volume hiring across industrial and corporate positions in a hybrid setting, with two onsite days per week.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, strong compliance knowledge (OFCCP), and hands-on ATS use (UKG preferred). The assignment is contract-to-hire with conversion potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 2 years recruiting experience supporting industrial and office roles.
• Knowledge of OFCCP and federal/state employment regulations.
• Experience with ATS (UKG preferred; ADP/Workday acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for industrial and corporate positions across multiple locations.
• Maintain an active requisition load (around 30 open roles).
• Source candidates through diverse channels to build talent pipelines.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews.
• Facilitate offer processes and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Partner with HR and leaders on hiring strategies and compliance.
• Track recruiting activity in ATS and ensure regulatory alignment.

Location (City, State): Herndon, VA (Hybrid)

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $34.00–$35.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Core hours: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM

Hybrid schedule with two days onsite per week (Tuesdays required; second day flexible)

Job Description:

The Contract Recruiter will support high-volume hiring across multiple facilities and corporate functions. This role requires strong full-cycle recruiting experience, attention to compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering a positive candidate experience while meeting business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for both industrial and corporate positions, supporting multiple locations
• Maintain an active requisition load (approximately 30 open roles at a time)
• Source candidates through a variety of channels to build strong, ongoing talent pipelines
• Screen resumes, conduct phone/video interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews
• Facilitate offer preparation and hiring processes while ensuring a smooth candidate experience
• Serve as a point of contact for applicant and employee recruiting inquiries
• Track and document recruiting activity within an applicant tracking system
• Ensure recruiting practices align with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Partner with HR and business leaders on hiring strategies and special projects as needed
• Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience supporting both industrial and office-based roles
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, including OFCCP guidelines required
• Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in an environment with EEO and compliance requirements
• Understanding of disposition codes and compliance documentation
• Familiarity with HR lifecycle processes from hiring through onboarding
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience using applicant tracking systems; UKG preferred (ADP or Workday also acceptable)
• Exposure to reporting or dashboard tools is a plus
• Contract-to-hire opportunity with conversion based on performance
• Target conversion salary of $72,000 - $75,000 annually
• Start date anticipated shortly after pre-employment requirements are completed
