You will partner with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire hourly manufacturing talent, delivering a superior candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding. The ideal candidate is action‑oriented, adaptable, customer‑focused, and results‑driven.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in HR, Business Management, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of recruiting experience supporting industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions.
  • Source candidates through job boards, networking, community partnerships, and recruiting events.
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, facility tours, and coordinate interviews.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and provide qualified candidates.
  • Post positions internally and externally across various recruiting platforms.
  • Coordinate new hire communications and support onboarding activities.
  • Conduct new hire orientations as needed.
  • Maintain recruiting records, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment metrics.
  • Attend career fairs, job fairs, and community recruiting events.
  • Build relationships with local schools, technical colleges, and workforce agencies.
  • Support employee events and HR initiatives.
  • Assist with employee relations, labor relations, and special HR projects.
  • Generate reports related to hiring activity, headcount, turnover, attendance, and other workforce metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance the candidate and employee experience.

Prolec GE Waukesha is seeking a Workforce Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for our expanding manufacturing operations in Goldsboro, NC. As a Workforce Recruiter, you will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire hourly manufacturing talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
