Job summary

The Advocates, a Denver-based legal search firm, seeks a Search Consultant to manage a full desk recruiting attorney candidates and lead engagement with firm leadership and corporate legal departments throughout the recruiting lifecycle.

You will source clients and candidates through proactive outreach, write presentation letters, and conduct outreach to build relationships; the team emphasizes collaboration, career growth, and flexible work options including two days remote work weekly.

The Advocates is a legal search firm with a 24-year history of building lasting relationships and delivering outstanding results for both candidates and clients. As we continue to grow our Denver office, we are seeking a Search Consultant to join our team.

What You’ll Do as a Search Consultant:

• Manage a full desk recruiting attorney candidates while engaging with leadership at law firms and corporate legal departments throughout the full recruiting life cycle
• Source new clients and candidates through proactive cold calling, while building and maintaining relationships through our inquiry-based sales approach
• Write presentation letters and conduct outreach to clients and candidates

Qualifications and Strengths We’re Looking For:

• At least three years of business-to-business sales experience or two or more years of recruiting experience (retail sales experience will not be considered)
• A strategic thinker who approaches each client and candidate interaction thoughtfully
• Holds themselves to high professional standards and is goal-oriented
• Strong active listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• College degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
