Job summary

Emler Swim School is seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting across multiple locations. You’ll partner with hiring managers, build strong pipelines, and deliver a superior candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.

The ideal candidate will manage sourcing, screening, and interviewing while using data to optimize strategies and outcomes. This role involves some travel between offices, campuses, and events to meet staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting for non-exempt roles across multiple locations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and workforce challenges.
  • Source candidates via online platforms, networking, referrals, and campus outreach.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates against position requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with managers, candidates, and recruitment partners.
  • Coordinate interviews and provide information for effective evaluations.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
  • Support offers, onboarding, references, and pre-employment checks.
  • Develop talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
  • Track recruiting metrics to improve effectiveness and decision-making.

Emler Swim & Gym is looking for a dynamic Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team! In this role, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of non-exempt positions while partnering closely with hiring managers across multiple locations.

What you'll do:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for multiple locations and hiring managers
  • Build strong talent pipelines through creative sourcing, networking, referrals, career fairs, campus partnerships, and online recruiting
  • Partner with hiring managers as a trusted recruiting advisor
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates while ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience
  • Use recruiting data and metrics to evaluate strategies and improve results
  • Attend and coordinate career fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting opportunities
  • Help develop and improve recruiting processes, programs, workflows, and best practices
  • Support a fun, friendly, and effective hiring experience from first conversation through onboarding
Responsibilities

As a Recruiter, you will:

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process to meet staffing needs for non-exempt positions across multiple locations and departments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs, workforce challenges, and business objectives.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through a variety of channels including online platforms, networking, referrals, career fairs, campus partnerships, community relationships, and other creative recruiting strategies.
  • Screen applications and resumes, conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews, and assess candidate qualifications against position requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, recruiting partners, referral sources, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and ensure hiring managers have the information needed to conduct effective evaluations.
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication, relationship building, and thoughtful engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Support hiring managers with employment offers, candidate communication, onboarding coordination, reference checks, and pre-employment processes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future staffing needs.
  • Plan and execute recruiting strategies for colleges, universities, career fairs, hiring events, and community partnerships.
  • Build and promote employee referral programs and campaigns.
  • Attend regular meetings with hiring managers and corporate partners in person and virtually.
  • Track recruiting activity and use data and metrics to evaluate recruiting effectiveness, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure ATS data, workflows, templates, and processes remain current and effective.
  • Maintain job postings across recruiting platforms, including university and college job boards.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to recruiting and onboarding processes and best practices.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Represent Emler Swim School professionally while supporting our mission, culture, and public image.
Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is passionate about people, highly organized, and excited about helping build exceptional teams.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least two years of recruiting experience with knowledge of full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing candidates, relationship management, and candidate due diligence
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines while remaining flexible and adaptable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and trends to support recommendations and decision-making

Preferred:

  • Three or more years of recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting for multiple locations, departments, or high-volume staffing needs

Pay Range

USD $59,000.00 - USD $72,200.00 /Yr.
