Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and self-directed individual who can take ownership of the recruiting process with minimal oversight. Partners with hiring managers to source, recruit, and screen candidates for open positions. Takes a proactive approach to sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates who align with Ashton Woods culture and values. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for our Ashton Woods.

This position has a hybrid work schedule: 2 days in our Alpharetta, GA office; 3 days remote. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to our Alpharetta, GA office.

Responsibilities
  • The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and establish recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source and attract candidates using a variety of methods such as job postings, social media, networking events, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates that meet the position's qualifications and requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone (or video) screens and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for the role.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and candidates on an ongoing basis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and human resources, to ensure alignment on staffing priorities and timelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation and post-interview feedback.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and staffing.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of full cycle corporate recruiting experience.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to be a self-starter who can take the initiative, work without supervision and begin projects independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or mission deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
