$22.00/yr - $26.00/yr
Provides swimming lessons and instruction to groups of adults and/or children, or to individual adults or children. Instructs patrons on rules and procedures for safe swimming. Works in a swimming pool environment where lifeguards are present to perform lifesaving activities. Assists lifeguards in inspecting pools for safe conditions, and performs other duties as assigned for the daily operation of the swimming pool, including cleaning of bath houses, wading pools, main pools, pool decks, and lifeguarding when not performing swim instruction.

Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work, with relevant experience clearly described in your resume. Education may substitute experience where applicable, with transcripts required if applicable.
Required Certifications: Current nationally recognized certification in swimming instruction, lifesaving, water rescue, basic first aid, and CPR (child and adult).
Experience in instructional methods, swimming activities, rules, procedures, and equipment maintenance is desirable.
