Job summary

Grand Hyatt Vail is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to oversee daily recreation operations at our ski-in/ski-out resort in Cascade Village, Vail. You will lead a team, ensure safety and excellence in guest service, and collaborate with departments to support resort events.

This role starts at $24/hour and offers comprehensive benefits for full-time colleagues, including meals, parking, sick pay, and opportunities to create memorable mountain experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising recreation staff or guest-facing teams.
• Strong customer service orientation with guest-focused decision making.
• Ability to plan and execute guest activities and seasonal programs.

• Supervise and support Recreation Attendants and daily recreation operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead guest activities, events, and seasonal programs.
• Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address guest inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and organization of recreation facilities and equipment.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance coaching.
• Monitor participation, activity supplies, and facility needs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support resort events and guest experiences

This role ensures recreational programs and facilities are safe, engaging, and well-maintained while promoting a fun and welcoming environment for guests. The starting hourly rate is 24.00/hour.
