• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy is required.
• BLS American Heart E-Card (AHA) is required.
• BLS RQI E-Card from AHA is required.
• CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) credential is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs evaluations and develops a treatment plan using recreational and leisure activities as modalities of treatment.
• Conducts assessment and establishes recreation therapy treatment goals for individuals, groups, and families.
• Coordinates therapy activities for large and small groups and monitors patient responses to encourage socialization.
• Evaluates patient progress and effectiveness of interventions.
• Communicates with patient and family about leisure lifestyle resources in their community.

Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations.
