Job summary

Caliber Therapies is seeking a passionate Recreational Therapist to join a flexible, community-based care team. You will design individualized interventions, perform assessments, and build meaningful therapeutic relationships in clients' homes and local settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, CTRS credential, strong communication, and the ability to travel within the service area. Telehealth may be utilized to support care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CTRS credential (NCTRC) is required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to providing services.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one Recreational Therapy in clients' homes and community settings.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions addressing physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and leisure functioning.
• Promote community integration, independence, and meaningful participation in daily life.
• Adapt interventions to match each client's strengths, interests, and goals.
• Collaborate with caregivers, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete accurate documentation per company policies and payer requirements.
• Maintain professional and clinical standards while representing Caliber Therapies.
