Job summary

Dept Behavioral Health/Develop seeks a Recreational Therapist at Eastern State Hospital to provide engaging, evidence-based therapeutic activities and groups to support psychosocial and physical recovery.

The role requires CTRS or eligibility to obtain within 12 months, plus experience with inpatient psychiatric care and group activity planning, in a structured therapeutic setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience applying behavioral intervention methods.
• Experience as a service provider in an inpatient program for mentally ill, mentally challenged or substance abuse patients.
• Experience working with psychiatric patients in a clinical setting.
• Experience in activity/group planning and implementation.
• CTRS certification or must be able to obtain within 12 months of employment.
