Qualifications

• Combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the requirements needed to implement and educate during the program.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED certification required.
• Must complete and pass a background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of program curriculum and advertising of the program.
• Maintain list of program needs and materials and communicate with designated supervisor.
• Works closely with the Program Supervisor in implementing schedule of program.
• Lead and supervise the program and all participants.
• Prepares areas and locations in preparation of programs; obtains and stores equipment in proper area in an organized manner.
• Enforces all safety rules.
• Upholds and enforces department policies.
• Reports definite as well as potential physical hazards in unsafe conditions of the facility and equipment to the Program Supervisor.
• Effectively communicates problems to the Program Supervisor and Department staff or others.
• Program lead must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
