This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Gymnastics & Ninja Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily program operations, supporting and developing staff, and ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment for participants. This position promotes quality instruction, encourages staff growth, and helps create an atmosphere that builds confidence, skill development, and self-esteem in children.
Minimum 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous gymnastics, ninja, or coaching experience in a gymnastics/ninja facility is required. 2-3 years of related experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to support and supervise staff.
Ability to plan, lead, supervise, and participate in a variety of gymnastics and ninja activities in an indoor recreation setting. Noise levels will vary depending on participant activity and program operations within the gymnastics center. Role may require carrying, kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting, climbing, lifting, running, stooping, crouching, standing, and walking. Must have the physical ability to assist participants, demonstrate skills when needed, and respond quickly to safety concerns or emergency situations.
