Thrive Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Recreation Therapy Assistant to support therapeutic programming and enhance patient daily experiences. You will plan and facilitate activities, lead recreational programs, and work closely with clinical teams to support patient care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, patient, team-oriented approach in behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferred.
• Background in recreation, psychology, kinesiology, social work or related fields is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage individuals with varying mental health needs in a supportive manner.
• Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented.
