Qualifications

• Experience with mental health or substance use disorders is preferred.
• Knowledge of a variety of recreational activities is required.
• Ability to document consistently with policy and good clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements therapeutic recreation and psycho-education services.
• Administers therapeutic recreational assessment.
• Documents services and patient response in medical records.
• Provides progress reports for treatment team meetings.
• Contributes to treatment plan development.
• Maintains recreation supplies and equipment.
• Attends and participates in patient treatment team meetings as part of the interdisciplinary team.
