Job summary

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health in Arkansas seeks a Recreation Therapist to plan and implement activity services as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

The role focuses on defining treatment goals, providing patient care, observation, and role modeling under the direction of the Director of Recreational Therapy; CTRS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in recreation therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Certified Recreational Therapy Specialist (CTRS).
• Two years of related experience preferred, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activity services of the assigned program.
• Define and implement treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under supervision.
• Collaborate with the Director of Recreational Therapy to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in recreation therapy, and Certified Recreational Therapy Specialist (CTRS).

Experience: Two (2) years of related experience preferred, with knowledge of a psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
