Recreational Therapist, CTRS

Full-time, varied shift including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Hill Crest Behavioral Health is an acute care, 194-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Birmingham, AL, providing mental health services for adolescents and adults.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy or Exercise Sciences
  • At least 3 years of recent recreation experience in an inpatient setting (highly preferred)
  • Current CTRS certification
  • Training in CPR and Handle With Care, to be completed during orientation
  • Training in aggression management, crisis intervention, and restraint

Training will be provided during the first week of employment.
