Job Description

Under the supervision of a Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the Recreation Therapist develops, implements, and evaluates therapeutic recreation programs. Responsibilities include instructing patients, monitoring progress, collaborating with healthcare providers, and maintaining safety and order.

Minimum Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from a recognized college with a major in recreation or recreation therapy, including supervised fieldwork. Applicants must provide evidence of graduation or its equivalent and completion of required fieldwork.

Additional Information

Applicants may be eligible for a recruitment and retention stipend of up to $10,000, and a monthly differential of up to $5,000 during the first year. Employees may also qualify for a $5,000 referral bonus if they remain employed for 90 days.
