System Support is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Rehabilitation Specialist/Therapist for a part-time 8A-4P role in Dayton, OH. You will maintain equipment inventories, stay current with professional trends, and uphold certifications such as CPR, NVCI, and CTRS as required. A progressive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred.
• Licensure, certification, or registration in area of specialty by a recognized state or local body.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• NVCI certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• CTRS required upon hire or OT.

General Summary/Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Specialist/Therapist is responsible for establishing, coordinating, organizing, and implementing a balanced rehabilitation therapy program based on the specific ages, needs, and treatment issues of the patients served. Responsible to make professional decisions to ensure patient safety during rehabilitation therapy and experiential therapy groups. Includes knowledge of, and proper use and maintenance of, rehabilitation and experiential equipment and the purchasing of supplies. Also, responsible to maintain knowledge of current inventory and professional trends and to maintain national level professional certification or state level registration.
