Charlotte County is seeking a Recreation Specialist to organize and lead programs, sports, and events across the County. You will coach participants, ensure facilities and equipment are event-ready, and foster safe, engaging environments that strengthen the community.

An equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience:
Stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, hearing, seeing up close, seeing far away, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, finger movement, repetitive motions, depth perception. Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Work is primarily performed both indoors and outdoors, potentially exposed to temperature changes dust, biting/stinging insects and outdoor weather conditions inclusive of heat, sun, rain, and wind.
