The City of Carson’s Parks and Recreation Division is seeking two passionate and experienced Recreation Specialist – Dance Instructors to support our Enrichment Program. This role is ideal for a dedicated dance professional with experience in tap, ballet, or performing arts who enjoys working with the community and inspiring individuals of all ages through movement and artistic expression.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dance instruction as part of our enrichment program. This position requires a commitment of at least two days per week during the fall and spring seasons. The candidate should have prior experience teaching or assisting in structured dance programs and be comfortable working with diverse age groups. A degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field is highly desirable.
Work Schedule: Weekday hours will vary between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PMRecruitment Process: Applications will be screened and evaluated based on training and experience.
