Job summary

Pathways, Inc. in Bath, NY is seeking a Recreation Specialist to oversee the day-to-day execution of youth recreational programs in our community. This full-time role supports diverse youth activities and requires strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, have a valid driver’s license, and meet regulatory background-check requirements. Therapeutic Recreation certification eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field is required.
• An individual with Therapeutic Recreation and National Council Therapeutic Recreation Certification eligibility is preferred.
• Requires a valid drivers’ license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency-owned vehicles.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance and Criminal History Review for history of abuse/maltreatment of children.
