Job summary

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a Site Manager to oversee recreation programs and operations at assigned facilities within the Community Recreation Program. The role directs programming, supervises staff and volunteers, and coordinates activities with community members and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities of recreation staff and volunteers across grades 5–9 and seasonal workers.
• Oversees operations, staffing, maintenance, permits and risk management for assigned sites.
• Develops staffing and budget recommendations to support recreation services for District residents.
