The Recreation Services Manager (Executive Director of SCMAF) oversees program development, management, and administration under the SCMAF Board of Directors. SCMAF is an organization of recreation professionals promoting sports training and competition across various regional associations. Responsibilities include managing programs, staff, budgets, fundraising, marketing, and contractual agreements. The role also involves serving on the Department of Parks and Recreation Sports Committee and the A Better Life Through Sports Foundation as secretary.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and one year of experience supervising regional or countywide sports programs. Additional experience can substitute for education up to two years.
Desirable Qualifications: Additional experience, budget management, training coordination, and fundraising experience.
