Job summary

The City of Lenexa seeks a part-time Preschool Program Instructor to lead and deliver engaging curriculum for Preschool Pals, guiding arts, crafts and science activities for preschoolers.

This role requires a high school diploma, two years of instructional or customer service experience, and First Aid/CPR AED certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days. The position is on-site and pays $16.50 per hour with annual raises.

• Maintain program materials and assist with classroom setup and cleanup.

Schedule

This position works up to 12 hours per week primarily on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. This is a year round part time position.

Position Summary

The Recreation Program Instructor leads preschool aged participants through a variety of enriching activities including arts and crafts science projects activity centers and other hands on learning experiences. The instructor develops and delivers curriculum that supports creativity exploration and social development serving as a positive representative of the City of Lenexa.

Minimum Qualifications
