About the Role

Our client seeks a proactive and energetic Recreation Program Facilitator to enhance leisure activities within the Welkom community. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of sports and recreational programs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and facilitate diverse recreational programs, including sports leagues, fitness classes, and arts & crafts activities.

• Manage program resources, including equipment inventory and facility bookings.
• Promote recreational programs to the community through various outreach efforts.
• Supervise and train program volunteers and part-time staff as needed.
• Gather feedback from participants to assess program satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in First Aid/CPR required.
• Previous experience in organizing or leading recreational activities, sports coaching, or youth programs.
• Strong knowledge of various sports and recreational activities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to participate in and lead various activities.
