Job summary

The Recreation & Program Attendant at the Community Center oversees post-event closing, ensuring security, cleanliness, and a smooth reset for future use. The role supports renters and staff by managing teardown and safety compliance in an orderly, welcoming environment.

You will work primarily evenings and weekends, with attention to detail and reliable, independent performance. This position helps maintain a safe, well-organized facility for all guests and renters.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, facilities, or recreation settings is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Close the community center following rental events, including securing all doors, windows, and lights
• Conduct post-rental inspections to ensure renters have complied with all terms outlined in their rental agreement
• Ensure the facility is clean and orderly, including floors, restrooms, and common areas
• Reset rooms by returning tables, chairs, and equipment to their proper locations
• Report any damages, maintenance needs, or policy violations to the Recreation and Program Director
• Provide general assistance to renters as needed during closing procedures
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
