Job summary

Anderson Cohen Weightlifting Center in Savannah, GA seeks a dedicated Recreation Aide to support daily operations, ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members.

You will oversee the front desk, check-in members, process fees with the POS system, use Xplor for scheduling and reporting, maintain equipment, assist with classes and events, create basic social media content, and perform related duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; experience or training equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations.
• Check-in members, answer phone calls, and collect membership fees.
• Operate the POS system to complete transactions.
• Provide information about memberships, programs, and schedules.
• Use Xplor for scheduling, check-ins, and reporting.
• Maintain class attendance records, document facility use, and data entry.
• Open and/or close the facility following procedures.
• Monitor gym floor for safety protocols.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and ensure sanitation.
• Create continuity of services and promote growth.
• Set up and break down equipment for classes/events.
• Assist in creating social media content.
