Under the supervision of the Aquatic Coordinator and Aquatic Coordinator Assistants, the Lifeguard is responsible for the safe operations of the aquatic center and for the safety of its patrons. Responsibilities include assisting in Aquatic Special Events, exercising preventive safety measures, supervising and instructing swimmers, cleaning and maintaining the pool, and providing aid to swimmers in distress.
Must have American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid Certification, and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescue Certification or American Heart Association CPR Certification. Must attach copies/proof to application.
