Job summary

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, NY is seeking a Recreation Leader to work Sunday through Wednesday, 8:30am–7:00pm, 40 hours weekly, to develop and implement programs for residents and support a team-driven rehabilitation.

The role emphasizes helping brain-injured individuals regain physical, emotional, and social well-being through engaging activities; the facility offers comprehensive on-site amenities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as an Art and Recreation leader in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred.
• Relates well to brain-injured individuals.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recreation programs as directed
• Take program attendance and provide data to the Director of Recreation
• Visit residents one-on-one, assisting with maintaining clean and organized activity areas
• Perform any other duties as required by the Director of Recreation
• Document client progress

As a Recreation Leader, you will play a vital role in our comprehensive team-driven rehabilitation program with a strong community re-entry emphasis.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recreation Leader to work Sunday-Wednesday from 8:30am-7:00pm, 40 hours per week. As a Recreation Leader, you will develop and implement innovative programs for our residents, providing a comprehensive team-driven rehabilitation experience that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
