Job summary

The City of Campbell Recreation and Community Services Department is seeking part-time recreation instructors in the areas of dance, fitness, and enrichment classes. The role emphasizes creating inclusive, welcoming environments and safe, professional conduct consistent with department policies.

Instructors for each specialty should bring appropriate experience: dance styles for dance instructors, fitness certification for fitness instructors, and subject-area knowledge for enrichment

Qualifications

• Minimum age at time of hire is 18 years old.
• Ability to be First Aid & CPR Certification after hire is required.

• Maintain effective communication and rapport with supervisor and participants.
• Dance Instructor: plans and leads engaging dance classes for participants of various ages and skill levels.
• Fitness Instructor: leads safe, engaging group fitness classes for participants ages 15+ and/or adults 50+.
• Enrichment Class Instructor: develops and leads recreational enrichment classes in areas such as cooking, art, language, crafts, or other specialty interests for participants of various ages.

The Campbell Recreation and Community Services Department is recruiting for recreation instructors in the following areas: dance instructor, fitness instructor, and enrichment class instructor.
