The City of Boulder is seeking a part-time gymnastics coach to join an inspired and dedicated staff. You will work under direct supervision to develop our athletes and support a team committed to participants and coworkers.
You will teach preschool gymnasts aged 2–5 and school-aged children 6+, set up equipment, monitor safety, and communicate with parents while collaborating with coordinators and fellow coaches. Weekend or evening availability is expected.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE (Gymnastics) Under direct supervision, take a collaborative approach in developing our athletes and show a strong commitment to our participants and coworkers. This position offers the chance to join an inspired and dedicated coaching staff and become an integral part of our team.

Supervision Received: Program Supervisor Supervision Exercised: None
Physical and mental effort: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities that permit the employee to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. Physical ability to stand, walk, and kneel; hand/eye coordination to operate personal computer and office equipment. Ability to work under stress from demanding deadlines, public contact, and changing priorities and conditions. Working environment: Works primarily in a clean, comfortable environment. Works in a setting subject to continuous interruptions and background noises. Requires schedule flexibility, occasionally working nights and weekends. May work in both indoor and outdoor environments that are oftentimes impacted by weather and at times, unpredictable conditions. Machines and equipment used: Frequently uses various fitness and/or dance equipment as well as occasionally standard office equipment including computers, telephones, calculators and copy/fax machines.
