Job description

We are looking for an instructor with knowledge, skills, and experience leading gymnastics classes/programming for children. Candidates must display patience and positivity with students of all levels. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, a high school graduate with experience, knowledge, and skills related to specific instruction in gymnastics. Hourly rate varies based on experience and skill knowledge.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Ensure safety of all participants
  2. Class and curriculum preparation for each program
  3. Promoting discipline and respect within each class and program
  4. Ensure proper use of techniques on equipment and floor
  5. Appropriate spotting for students while on equipment when necessary
  6. Monitoring and notifying of student progress, providing feedback for an individual or group
  7. Keep up to date with certifications, workshops, and trainings

Minimum requirements include:

  1. Must be able to work weekdays and weeknights
  2. Ability to obtain CPR and first aid certification within 3 months of employment
  3. Experience as a gymnast
  4. Prior experience creating, designing, planning, and instructing classes in gymnastics
  5. Gymnastics related certification
