Qualifications

Recreation Instructor - Group Fitness

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Recreation Instructor – Group Fitness. The Recreation Instructor reports to the Recreation Coordinator. The primary job duties of this position include:

• Curriculum planning, implementing programs and/or classes, classroom management by adapting to participant's needs and behaviors, instruction of specialized courses or skills.
• Record keeping by maintaining attendance sheets, participant contact information and liability waivers, maintaining confidentiality and using discretion when speaking with parents
• Make recommendations as to enhance and optimize class participation.
• Maintain and inspect all classroom tools and equipment.
• Inventory and request supplies.

Applications are reviewed on a weekly basis.

This position requires a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and fingerprinting.

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

This position has been designated as a Medium work position that spends a majority of their work day in a recreation facility environment. To learn more about the different physical exertion levels as defined by the Social Security Administration.
