Job summary

The City of Fridley is seeking a friendly Recreation Facility Monitor to welcome visitors, support daily operations, and help keep Commons Park Building clean and safe. You will greet patrons, process registrations, set up equipment and assist with programs and events to ensure a welcoming community hub.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the building, processing transactions, rentals, and maintaining facilities throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior work in a customer service role.
• Experience working with computers and computer software.

In this role, you’ll greet visitors, process registrations, set up equipment, assist with programs and events, and help keep the building running smoothly.

2. Opens and closes building securely.

3. Sets up and takes down equipment.

4. Processes transactions related to programming within facility.

7. Assists with programs or special events.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Desired Qualifications:

• 1. High School Diploma
• 2. Experience working with Recreation software/registration systems.
• 3. Experience with monitoring a facility, including set-up, take-down and working with audio/visual equipment.
