Job summary

City of Alameda's Recreation and Park Department seeks a part-time Facility Attendant to monitor recreation facilities during operation, open and close facilities, and maintain order. You will interact with the public and answer questions about facility use and department policy to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Requirements include current American Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR certification, a recent TB test, and must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• ALL POSITIONS require current certification in American Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR and a recent TB Test prior to the beginning of the program or agree to get both as a condition of being hired.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Volunteer or Recreation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recreation Facility Assistant/Attendants are responsible for monitoring Alameda's recreation facilities during operation, open and close facilities, maintain order of facilities, interact with the public, and answer any questions about the facility use and department policy.
