Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Recreation Director to develop, implement and supervise nursing center activities designed to enhance residents' quality of life. You will report to the Nursing Home Administrator and lead a team of recreation staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities include planning individualized and group programs aligned with residents' needs and treatment goals, maintaining documentation and budgets, and building positive relationships with families and the community through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation preferred or completion of NAAP/NCCAP Basic and Advanced Management Course for Activity Professionals.
• Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the center, by the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals (ADC) or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRS).
• Two years' experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, health care setting preferred.

Posted Salary Range
