CoreCivic is seeking a Recreation Coordinator to plan and supervise the facility's recreational program, coordinating activities for inmates/residents and ensuring safety and security alignment. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, 60 college credits in a related field, and at least one year of recreation supervision experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Sixty (60) college credits in Recreational Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education or related field is required.
• One year of experience supervising recreation or leisure activities is required.
• Experience with custody and control of inmates/residents preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Aufgaben

• Assist in supervising the overall recreational program for the facility, including inmates/residents in support of the facility security plan.
• Coordinate and supervise daily recreational and leisure activities per the building schedule (games, crafts, hobby programs).
• Maintain inventories of supplies, tools and equipment to prevent waste or loss.
• Order replacement items and arrange equipment and facilities as required.
• Monitor safety and sanitation of recreational areas.
• Prepare and disseminate safety, accident and statistical reports as required by policy and respond to emergencies.
