Job summary

CAMBA is seeking a Recreation Coordinator to support families at one of its homeless services facilities in New York City. You will organize and lead recreational activities, ensure client confidentiality, and coordinate volunteers and partners to meet program goals.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, adherence to DHS and CAMBA policies, and the ability to document activities and progress for program reporting.

Qualifications

• Four years of applicable experience.
• Bilingual (English +) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients while protecting confidentiality.
• Organize and lead recreational/ADL activities to enhance social development.
• Coordinate and facilitate social/peer events and group activities.
• Input client data into DHS CARES database and track progress.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise volunteers and community partners to meet program goals.
