Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools is seeking a Recreation Basketball Referee for Saturday morning games at multiple sites in the district. This casual position runs from November through February with games scheduled 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and potential coaching opportunities for lower level clinics.

Responsibilities include site setup and teardown, officiating games, and guiding players in grades 3-8. Prior basketball knowledge is required; referee training will be provided.

Recreation Basketball Referee: Referee basketball games grades 3-8. We also have coaching opportunities for lower level clinics.

Start Date: November

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Hourly Rate Range: $16.00/hour Based on Casual Rate of Pay Sheet

Work Week: Saturday mornings 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM / Times vary per site and staff availability.

Location: Various gyms White Bear Lake Area Schools

Job Duties/Essential Functions: Responsible for site set up & take down, coaching certain ages, and officiating basketball games held between November and February.
