Job summary

Army NAF seeks a staff member to ensure safe use of fitness equipment and assist guests with program bookings at Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield. The role includes handling member inquiries, inventory, and facility cleanliness.

Responsibilities cover pool and spa area safety, laundry duties, and supporting multiple sport programs. Candidates must meet pre-employment checks and obtain First Aid/CPR certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Resumes must be two pages (or less).
• Must demonstrate the ability to offer excellent customer service and the ability to do the work with minimal supervision.
• Must have or be able to obtain American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Issues and ensures correct, proper, and safe use of all fitness equipment.
• Explains equipment usage to guests and cleans/maintains equipment.
• Works various sport and fitness programs and tournaments; answers member questions and maintains membership database.
• Utilizes automated booking system to make reservations and appointments.
• Is familiar with the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi operations and reports problems to the supervisor on duty.
• Operates laundry machines and cleans common areas; maintains stock room and cleaning supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
