Base pay range

$18.50/hr - $18.50/hr

Therapeutic Recreation Assistant (TRD Certification Required)

Summary: The primary role of the Therapeutic Recreation Assistant is to run and implement therapeutic social and cognitive entertainment, activities, trips, and events for residents.

Pay:

$18.50/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Complete and follow activity calendars with a variety of scheduled activities.
  • Participate, organize, and implement daily social and therapeutic activities and events.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing, planning, and implementing therapeutic programs, activities, and events for seniors or physically/mentally challenged adults in a clinical setting.
  • Therapeutic Recreation Director certificate of completion.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement multiple events and work with diverse disciplines in a challenging multicultural environment, targeting specific behavioral and/or patient groups.
  • Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
