Responsibilities

• Assist under the supervision of the Outdoor Recreation Manager or Recreation Specialist.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, document transactions, and ensure internal controls.
• Be familiar with all outdoor recreation programs and local area to provide information to customers.
• Report issues promptly to maintain high-quality guest service.
• Instruct groups and individuals in outdoor activities such as rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and challenge courses, using effective teaching methods.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Social Security Card and participate in direct deposit.
• Meet all qualification, eligibility, and background requirements.
• A probationary period may be required.
• Complete employment verification (E-Verify).
• Satisfactorily complete pre-employment checks, including a Tier 1 CNACI background investigation.
• Obtain or have a current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
• If involved in water rafting, complete required Raft Guide Training within three weeks of appointment; failure may lead to separation.
• Availability to work early mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a physical exam.
