• In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
• Assists patrons in using the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
• Plans, conducts, publicizes, and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions.
• May provide work guidance to other staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Conditions of Employment

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees, whether full-time or part-time, are eligible to apply.
• Operational hours: 0530 to 1830 during operational months. Shifts typically 5 to 6 hours (0530 to 1200 or 1200 to 1800), 7 days a week including holidays.
• Schedule will be posted and may adjust for tournaments, scrambles, or high school events.

Qualifications

Work experience involving interaction with the general public.
