Job summary

The Commander, Navy Installations Command operates at the Golf Course, Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, supporting MWR golf programs and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in support of the successful daily operations of the MWR Golf Program, including customer check-in and check-out of tee times, coordinating cart rentals, assisting with golf events and tournaments, and supporting pro shop operations in accordance with established golf program policies and procedures.
• Provides customer service, information, and support by greeting patrons, verifying eligibility, answering inquiries, and providing information regarding golf services, fees, safety procedures, and scheduled activities. Collects fees from customers associated with sales, rentals, and services using Point of Sale (POS) systems and computer programs. Assists with opening and closing the golf shop.
• Assists with ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventorying resale merchandise, rental equipment, supplies, and assets. Performs basic cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly golf shop, cart staging area, and associated workspaces. Assists with golf-related events, leagues, tournaments, and base-wide or special events, including setup, breakdown, and participant coordination.
• Briefs customers on applicable safety rules, procedures, and proper use of golf equipment and facilities. Adheres to and carries out all applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), and MWR program policies, procedures, regulations, and safety standards.

This position is located at the Golf Course, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The mission of Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Quality of Life (QOL) Programs (J9) is to provide the highest quality programs and services to the military community through self-sustainment across all QOL programs.
