Base pay range
$15.00/yr - $15.25/yr
Duties
- Works as an assistant for the Recreation Specialist who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality.
- Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities. Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable.
- Pre-checks, prepares equipment for customers, explains use, monitors proper usage. Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor. Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area.
- Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits.
- Inspects equipment when turned in and collects pre-set fees for damages. Tests mechanical equipment for serviceability after each use. Removes damaged or unusable equipment from inventory.

- Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
- Valid Driver's License.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:- Work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties:
- secure facility
- issue equipment to customers
- collect fees (ex: registration for camping and/or trip, payment of rented equipment etc.)
- monitor inventory (ex. Supplies, equipment etc.)
- Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area.
- Must have and retain a valid driver's license.

PCS Costs
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
- This is a pay-banded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will not be paid.
Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials
- Overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
