Duties
- Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected, safeguards funds, and makes daily bank deposits.
- Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage.
- Cleans recreation equipment, supplies, and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment.
- Inspects equipment when turned in and collects pre-set fees for damages. Tests mechanical equipment for serviceability after each use.
- Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and ensuring security system is operable.
- Prepares requirement lists for supplies and equipment based on demand or need for replacement. Monitors inventories and condition of items on hand.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts.
- Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
- This is a flexible position with no guaranteed hours. Flexible employees serve in scheduled or as-needed roles.
- Must be available to work days and evenings.
- All employees are required to be available for Community Events supported by the Business Operations Division, including but not limited to Oktoberfest, Freedom Fest, Children’s Fest, and Winterfest.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties described above.
- Must have and retain a valid driver’s license.

Best Qualified Criteria:
- At least six (6) months experience using a Point of Sale System (such as Rectrac, Square, etc.)
- At least six (6) months Customer Service experience.
- At least six (6) months cash handling experience.
