Job description

About the position:

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts, Beale AFB, CA.

You will be scheduled to work anywhere from 0-40 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. This position does not receive benefits.

Duties
  1. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of computerized engravers, screen prints, embroidery machines, sublimation printers, and all other equipment essential to the Arts and Crafts facility on Beale AFB.
  2. Take special orders using rough sketches and/or written and oral instructions from customers.
  3. Produce artwork and design layouts appropriate for customer needs.
  4. Transfer images to ordered products.
  5. Perform inventory management and order stock and expendable items.
  6. This is a customer service-oriented position.

Requirements
  • Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
  • This is a drug testing designated position.
  • Requires continuous standing, walking, and stooping. Must be able to physically lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.

Qualifying Experience:

Practical knowledge and experience with Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, or industry equivalents. Must be able to read, write, spell, and speak English fluently, and perform basic math and measurements. Strong attention to detail is essential.
