Rich Square Health & Rehabilitation Center in Rich Square, NC is seeking a Recreation Assistant to engage residents in social, physical, and cognitive activities.

You will help plan and run programs, maintain records, transport residents, and coordinate with staff to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. If you are creative, enthusiastic about working with the elderly, and organized, this role offers meaningful daily impact and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
• Knowledge of recreational therapy or related field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Support and motivate residents to engage in social, physical, and cognitive activities and adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual residents.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of social and recreational activities and programs for residents.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of activities and resident participation.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed and assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces.
• Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What You'll Do
